Specialised Health Promotion

Shaping the Future is a collaboration of the Royal Society of Health, Faculty of Public Health, UK Voluntary Register for Public Health Specialists and Institute of Health Promotion and Education, funded by the UK Departments of Health. Its aims are to:

  • Achieve recognition for specialised health promotion as an important discipline within public health
  • Develop an agreed career pathway for specialised health promotion staff, funded skills and competency development, and appropriate accreditation and regulation
