Specialised Health Promotion
Shaping the Future is a collaboration of the Royal Society of Health, Faculty of Public Health, UK Public Health Register and Institute of Health Promotion and Education, funded by the UK Departments of Health. Its aims are to:
- Achieve recognition for specialised health promotion as an important discipline within public health
- Develop an agreed career pathway for specialised health promotion staff, funded skills and competency development, and appropriate accreditation and regulation

- FPH has published a guide entitled Sustaining a healthy future - taking action on climate change which focuses on the health impact of climate change and the critical role of the NHS and wider health and healthcare community in creating a healthier, more sustainable, low-carbon future.
